TMEIC Control System
（1）STS Electric Control System Upgrade Project
Project Summary：The crane used GE T250Wi series drives and 9030 series PLC for control. The communication between the drive and PLC was facilitated using the IS bus method. The 9030 series PLC and ISC controller, along with other devices, have been discontinued. To ensure the normal operation of the equipment, we remove the ISC controller and upgrade the PLC to the RX3I series, with the communication method being changed to EGD.
（2）STS Electric Control System Upgrade Project
Project Summary：The crane used GE T250Wi series drives and 9030 series PLCs for control, with IS bus used for communication between the drive and PLC, and Genius for communication between master and slave PLCs. The 9030 series PLC and ISC controllers, along with other equipment, have been discontinued. Additionally, the long-used Genius communication system is showing signs of aging. To ensure the normal operation of the equipment, we remove the ISC controller and upgrade the PLC to the RX3i series. After the retrofit, the communication method between the PLC, the drive, and the driver's cabin slave station (excluding the driver's cabin hoisting PLC) are changed to EGD. Corresponding upgrading CMS of electrical room and driver's cabin.
FUJI Control System
RTG Electric Control System Upgrade Project
Project Summary: The crane used Fuji VG7S series drives and F70S series PLCs for control. Currently, the F70S series PLC and VG7S series drives have been discontinued. In order to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment, we remove the F70S controllers and VG7S drives and upgrade the PLC to the MICREX-SX SPH series and the drives to the VG1S series.
Siemens Control System
STS Electric Control System Upgrade Project
Project Summary: The crane upgrade involves updating the drive system to the latest PLC hardware to meet customer operational needs. We upgrade the existing two STS drive systems from the Masterdrive system to the Sinamics S120 drive system and update the PLC from the old S7-400 CPU to the new S7-400 CPU, along with upgrading to the latest CMS interface and functionalities.
